I think I'm really ugly?

I'm asian and I think I am extremely ugly compared to a ton of beautiful girls in my school. My eyes are naturally monolids, but one of them turned to a double lid and it won't go back. Now my eyes are uneven and they look weird. My monolid looks like I'm constantly squinting and my double lid doesn't make anything better. Eyeliner and mascara look fine on my double lid, but terrible on my monolid. Plus both of my eyes slant upwards so I have to deal with the stupid "Chinese, Japanese, dirty knees. etc" joke. Also I think my nose is way too fat. I have almost no bridge at all, and my nostrils are HUGE!! It makes me look like I have a pig's nose. I also think my lips are too full, whenever I smile with lipstick on, I look really gross and I have to force my mouth to suck inwards so not as much lip shows. I'd really like some tips to help change my appearance without surgery, because there is no way I'm going under the knife. I look even uglier than all the other asians in my school! I am a recovering addict... I am a very active member of N.A. I did abuse XANAX in my using days... In fact XANAX, VALIUM, and KLONOPIN were my 2nd choice drugs next to a big fat JOINT... Anyway thru my experience and by the knowledge of my addictions counselor in the in-patient facility where I first "GOT CLEAN", I learned that even one year in most cases is not enough use of nerve medications to become physically addicted... So at 6 months for you, its more of a mental challenge and I truly do believe that. Your not going to have a siezure and die from it just after 6 months of using xanax... I have actually been told by my counselor "that's not possible" and I do believe it because I quit cold turkey after one year. I started using drugs at 14 and did not clean up till I was 35. I have done about every drug under the sun... At 6 months of xanax use, u can quit cold turkey with no physival problems... Go to a N.A. Meeting and use the knowledge that is passed on to you.. It is proven that only around 10 percent of addicts in recovery are successful. And when u go to a meeting, if its your first one, just listen if u like but if u decide to keep going, u have to vring something to the tables... Recovery is a selfish program and u get what u take... Bring something to the tables to talk about... It works if u work it bro...

Is it ever too early to seek couples counseling?

My boyfriend and I have been off/on for the last 2 years. In these two years and going through the things we have together has made us stronger, but there is a reason we are off/on instead of just staying together. I am unsure how to do deadmines on WoW (Lvl 15-21)?

I have done deadmines a few times now and I think it's great, but at the beginning, when you need to accept the quest to kill the bosses, it isn't there, it just says "There are always new things to explore" (I did accept the quest the first time that I did it, so can you only accept it once?), but I don't know whether I am doing the right thing to get the quest. Also, throughout the first time I did deadmines, I had to accept new quest to kill the next boss along, again, that doesn't happen now. Then, at the end when I have defeated Admiral Ripsnarl and Captain Cookie, the Lieutenant just arrives, kneels down and says, "that's just the way the cookie crumbles". Nothing happens then so I teleport out of the dungeon and leave the group, then select Dungeon Finder again. Is this the correct way to do it or I am doing it wrong? Any help appreciated!

So I went out to eat breakfast with my boyfriend. I ordered a rediculously huge meal and he said if I could possibly eat that all then he's gonna start calling me *Carley (she's a morbidly obese woman...her name is changed for private reasons). I laughed and jokingly said "Youre going to make me have an eating disorder" He said "dont you already have one?" I catch myself doing it all the time now and the funny thing is i've tried to stop but for some reason I can't. If im eating something with a fork I'll put my elbow on the table and put my hand, holding the fork downwards towards my food, infront of my mouth. I used to not be able to eat infront of guys and I thought I had gotten over that. Idk if I'm over-reacting or if i should seek some counceling. Help?

I have been a captain of the Varsity Sailing Team for 6 years with multiple coaches’ awards and have successfully led the team to national ranking for the first time in my school's history. I have also been the captain of the JV and JJV basketball team and am a member of the varsity basketball team as well. I currently have about a 100 weighted gpa (4.0=96) and a 550 in reading and 520 in math SAT (first time taken and must improve). I am a member of the National Honor Society serving as the president and a student ambassador to the National Society of High School Scholars. Ps3 controller problem..analog sticks?

So i have one ps3 controller. The regular dualshock 3. And everything on it is good besides the analong sticks. The right one doesnt move around quickly and it squeeks alot. Can someone please help with my headaches and various random issues? I have no idea what's up...?

I'm 15 and I always have a headache, its never gone but gets worse sometimes. Its been this way for as long as I can remember, but its been getting worse. I don't spend a lot of time with electronics, I have glasses that are up to date, and I'm not stressing a ton. It feels better when I squeeze my head, my doc said I have tension headaches but it doesn't feel like my head's in a vise-more that it would feel better if it was. I always have a stomachache too, but that doesn't trouble me as much. I also have chronic pain on either side of my spine and on the sides of my trachea, as well as widespread pain-not fibromyalgia though. I have many sleep issues but am on medication to help that right now so I don't think it's caused by sleep deprivation either, however I'm still insanely tired no matter what I do. I don't drink caffeine, I exercise-not to a level where it would be hurting me though, and I take a ton of vitamins-Yet I always get sick. I got checked for mono, thyroid issues, allergies, cardiology, sleep, etc. I soon have a neurology appointment, but I honestly have no idea what's causing my issues. I'm also severely depressed, anxious, and dislike the vast majority of foods-like a combination of food neophobia and selective eating disorder. At the sleep clinic I got diagnosed with sleep apnea, although I show no symptoms of it other than unrestful sleep and excessive daytime sleepiness. I wake up around 6 times an hour-which is acute and should not be causing my headaches. They thought at first that I had narcolepsy and insomnia because I have ALL of those symptoms, but my sleep wasn't congruent to that of a narcoleptic. I have extreme issues with getting my homework and everything done because it takes so much energy to hold my concentration-energy I don't have. I don't have concentration problems though and I do not procrastinate, I just simply don't have the energy to do anything... Which is killing me because I wish I could, and I need to, but I physically can't. Also, although I drink enough, upon standing I often get extremely dizzy and I get visual snow. I get arrhythmia every now and then but not horrendous-and no chest pain, my resting heart rate is around 90 and shoots up to 180 every time I go up a flight of stairs-even though I'm active, I get tinnitus, my hands and feet are always cold and my extremities fall asleep easily and I get cataplexy-like symptoms in them when I laugh hard or are extremely sad. I get extremely hot at night. My bloods, ekg, echo etc are all perfect and I do not have anemia or hormonal issues. I'm always sore almost everywhere on my body and have a constant need to crack my hands back etc. Sometimes I have a pulsing headache, normally it just hurts a lot on both sides of my head. It moves around but it's typically in the back of my head. Sometimes it's behind my eyes and they feel like they're being pushed out and upwards. Its not migraines. Last year I got very sick, I got bronchitis, pneumonia, pharyngitis and a mono like virus (even though that test came back negative). My throat's always sore and since then i've gotten pharyngitis a few times and tonsillitis, even though I used to never get sick as a kid; and I'm perfectly healthy looking in a physical... There's probably a whole variety of issues I'm leaving out... But does anyone know what it could be?! Please I'm desperate...I can't function like this any longer, it's been my whole life and I'm sick of it....I need an answer... Please comment

Power window problems(Mazda BT-50)?

normally, when i press the main power window button, one click downwards the window automatically goes all the way down, the same applies when one click upwards. recently i just changed my car battery without any prob, but soon later i realize the main power window doesnt work like it should, when i click once, it only goes a little bit just like the rear / normal power window. i have to push the button all the way to move up and downwards my main door window. any helps guys? fuse? or anything?

I dated this guy on and off for over 2 years. Ok so my nephew is 15 and he seems to be a really good kid but doesn't get along with his parents. I never thought it was a serious problem because what teenager doesn't argue with his parents here and there.. So about 3 weeks ago he got caught smoking weed and arrested and his parents were furious and told him that he was going to be sent to Admiral Farragut Academy which is a military school (I think) So he got very violent with his mother when she showed him the brochure to the school however his father came a kicked his a** .. I am so depressed for my sister who has died and her husband.. I feel that my health is deteriorating quickly and I have began to have more flares of gout and other conditions that I used to have under control with medication.. I noticed one of my baby cousin has a Squint Eye. Though I was wondering what could cause this? Is it genetics? or what I heard is that, if you look at an infant from above as you lay them down, causing them to look upwards at you, it will cause them to have a Squint Eye as they grow up. Desperately need advice regarding the pill that causes you to miscarraige - without harsh judgement please?

Ok so I got stuck in this relationship with someone who I should of broken up with a long time ago. I have a few medical conditions that makes it that I totally should not be pregnant right now. Also, one of my medical conditions makes doctors hesitant to put me on birth control. So I was using condoms with my boyfriend, this is the last time we had sex ... apparently he took it off and put half his load in me and then told me afterwards hoping I would get pregnant. Was too late for me to take the morning after pill at that point. So .. I got a period, although it was short which due to my medical reasons and stress this sometimes happens. Then I took a negative test, and thought I was in the clear. Soo I broke up with my boyfriend after this, this was the last straw. Now a month later, soon I know ... I am seeing someone else. Timing might be bad, but I wasnt going to let a guy that very much so seems like a great match for me, and is really sweet ... wasnt going to let him pass me by. He sought me out (I knew him bc he is a good friends of mines from high schools older brother) So we have been seeing each other only for 2 weeks, and now all of a sudden I have symptoms, my boobs hurt, etc . I take a test, and it comes out positive. I know it is from the ex. He is a drug addict, and abusive. Has alot of issues. And was trying to get me pregnant on purpose. I do not normally believe in terminating a pregnancy, I just cannot go though with it with the situation at hand. The current guy I am seeing is very supportive, as he knows the history with the ex, and why I broke up with him. Also, we tell each other the truth about everything. Also, I am not a teenager just so everyone knows. My plan is to get the pill that makes you miscarry. How many weeks can you take it up to? And how bad does it hurt? Im in a real tough position here and cant believe this was successfully intentionally done to me. Need good advice.

Stay working as Floor Staff at Regal Cinemas, or go work at Blockbuster for an assistant management position?

To be honest I enjoy my job at Regal. The only reason I am seeking another job is because my mother is pressing me to do so, and considering I live with her (I'm 19 and a college student), I have to abide by her wishes "for the most part". I would do both, but I have a feeling these companies run the same way with inconsistent hours. The reason that I don't like working at Regal has a lot to do with the pay, but I doubt that will change significantly. Another problem I have with Regal is the bi-weekly paychecks. It makes it hard for me to make my car insurance bill on time (sometimes). I know these jobs won't be what I'm doing for the rest of my life, but I want to have a job on my application that shows I'm competent. If I stay at Regal I'll probably make the two year mark, which just makes me look good (no extra benefits or anything). If I potentially get hired at Blockbuster I will have management on my resume. I just wish I could do them both. I know management would look better, but I don't want to jump into something I would hate and regret. Anybody have any Blockbuster experiences they want to share? Power Steering on 2002 Chevy Silverado?

My husband's truck has always been in really good working condition but all of a sudden it grinds really loud and is hard to turn. We've come to the conclusion that something is wrong with the power steering pump. We had someone at a car shop tell us that it had a crack in it and the entire thing needed to be replaced. They wanted to charge me upwards of $500 to fix it and $90 to run diagnostics. When I got home I told my husband about what they said was wrong and what needed to be done to fix it. We popped the hood to kind of double check and it still had power steering fluid and 2 months later, the power steering fluid is still there. If it had a crack in it, wouldn't all the fluid leak out and that would cause the terrible sound we hear? Also, since his truck has power steering, driving it around with the power steering out probably isn't a good thing, right? We just want some kind of idea of what could really be wrong so we don't go in there blind and have some clue as to what we're talking about. He leaves for the Marines in 2 months and our 4 year old and I are going to be using his truck since it's paid off so it has to work well! We're saving money for when he leaves so we don't want to shell out $590 if we don't have to. Thank you!

In the eyes of God, can I date/marry a non-divorced woman if her husband deserts her?

[Let me say sorry this is so long but i feel its all necessary] I have been in a relationship for about three years now with a young lady with a now three year old, and i have let my moral compass go haywire to make thins work. Now, i see the need to get right with God, but i don't know if i can be with them and still be pleasing in God's sight. I really care for them, and don't want to hurt them, but i REALLY feel the need to get right with God, even if that means i have to leave them in order to pursue righteousness. I want to pray and seek God for an answer, but I recently learned that until i remove sin (especially known sin) from my life, God will not hear me when i pray. So i have told her that i intend to do what i feel will allow me to seek God with my whole heart, even if I must leave them to do so - she never really responds to my words though. In fact, i think she may be mad at the fact that i want to turn over a new more righteous in God leaf and that I'm asking her to make these changes with me in order to be together with me. I keep telling her that there's no love lost over this but that i still care about them and really want this to work out for us to be together still, but for some reason she keeps insisting that i just dont love her and that she's not good enough and that basically she is a victim in all this - when all she has to do is agree to be open to this new direction in life or admit that she doesnt wanna do the things needed to still be together under God. In either case, i'm conflicted because it looks as though i may be waivering in my resolve, especially as she is trying to manipulate me into staying with her and staying more or less the same - when im telling her that there are things we've entertained in the duration of our relationship that in God's eyes are sinful and displeasing to him and that for "us" to work she also must be 100% willing to give up these things and habits as well, to walk with me and not resist for comfort etc. I know she may be scared, but she wont admit it if she is, shes very distant on the issue and very non-responsive, non-sharing of how she really feels and what she really thinks, and just acting like im treating her badly when im trying to tell her to walk with me or let me go. 1 week old breastfed baby...questions on BM's. What's "normal" at this age?

My breastfed son is 9 days old. ever since my milk came in, he's been having upwards of 8 or more small to moderate bowel movements a day. His poops are yellow, as is described to be normal at this point, but instead of it looking "seedy" what should be the seedy bits comes out somewhat thick ans stuck together. He grunts and squeals during a BM, and sometimes he cries just before. afterward, he's fine. I know he's not constipated, but is this normal behaviour with a 1 week old breastfed baby? I have had a history with an eating disorder, and I wouldn't say I'm the healthiest eater, but I am at a healthy weight and lifestyle. My mind was set on the Navy so I decided to try and lose some weight..In about 9 months I have lost close to 50 pounds by pure diet and exercise. I didnt do any hardcore cardio or dumb shortcuts..I just ate healthier and went to the gym 3-5 times a week..all I did was the elliptical and ab workouts such as scissor kicks, crunches, and sit ups. I am proud to say that I am almost at my goal and I wont stop until my goal is reached.

Why does my calf muscle do this?

Dude, you do rrealiseTHQ cannot put all of this in one game for the simple fact that WWE basically only gives them a year to spit out these games. In the past year, I have noticed my gum receding on my lower front teeth. My dentist says my gums are healthy, so there is no risk of the tooth falling out. I was told it was due to my brushing technique - I effectively dragged the gum away from the tooth. My hygienist at the dentist told me to flick the brush upwards to help with the problem, but my regular dentist says it will never come back to normal. Is this true? Let's say employers simply refuse to create new jobs or hire new people. They just place hiring freeze and use every single employee of theirs to do the work of 2 to 3 people. Those people accept the work of 2 to 3 with no pay increase. And then going home those people then drink lot of alcohol (beating wife and pet in some cases, which leads to abusive household environment for kids, etc etc) and smoke a lot due to the excessive stress at work. After health damage of employee, they seek lots of medical treatments and ER visits, which increases health care costs exponentially. So what happens to the economy with no more jobs and dramatically rising health care costs? And is this scenario a possibility, or it will never happen?

I live in California. I have contacted my local Public Defenders office and they say I do not qualify. There MUST be some way I can get these off my record so I can seek more gainful employment and restore my broken marriage. My wife is insistent that the crimes are off my record though she knew about them before we were married; I was given false information years ago by my public defender that the process would not be hard to get them expunged, in which I passed that information on to her when we were still dating. Though the best case scenario would be that the love my wife had for would be so great that something like this wouldn't matter, unfortunately thats not the case right now and I KNOW God brought us together and I am tryng to make sense out of all this and I have to believe that there is some way to make these felony's disappear. Though I pray that God softens her heart and something like this won't matter, I still have to try whatever I can and exhaust all my resources. I am off probation, I only served county jail time, I have paid all my restitution and I have not not been convicted of anything since. These crimes were strikeable offenses and I did receive strikes (you cant strike out on 1 case). I have a 17 year suspended sentence. There has to be something I can do, no matter how bad my chances may seem, to get these off my record. I was looking at 20-35 years in prison and by the grace of God alone, I only served county time. There has to be something that california law, some exemption, some loophole or special circumstance? Joining the Army Reserve perhaps? Really I am open to all suggestions. But its comming to a point I have enough of this behaviour, I read on the internet their calm and need a lot exercise so I thought we could walk with him often, but its a struggle on the street as he does not walk normal. Its not a type of dog to keep in a household as he needs space to run and play. He needs an owner that does not have to be carefull with gardens and inside, and lots more for him as he has a sweet character. It is selfish also to keep him I think. I payed a lot money for him but his wellfare comes first. As I can imagine he is not in his element. I won't just give him away, I need to know he gets a good home first.

I just finished watching the show, and I didn't understand what happened to her, how she ressurected, or anything else. I have a feeling the show was just going in a corny religious path, but I hope not. It only slightly bothered me that this show combined Roman god names with Greek ones. Or that Gaius was a Noah/Jesus figure, or that the whole storyline of the show turned out to be a modernized retelling of Noah's Ark/Epic of Gilgamesh. After 3 or 4 seasons all shows start to worsen. All the characters change and the original spunk of the show is gone. House is no exception. They have to know when to stop. It's hard to keep coming up with weird problems for the patients and the past few seasons are unexciting anymore.

We had yet to meet and i started to feel extremely guilty so i tried to break things off with marry because of it. Well one thing led to another and we ended up having weird sex. Finally school was over a few weeks later and I went back home and met up with gale though I had yet to break things off with marry. Gale and I had sex of course and i began to cheat on marry. Finally after two or three weeks of lies i couldn't take it anymore so i broke things off with marry (never telling her why) . after a few months I was still with gale and she and i decided to move in together. I later found out that marry had conceived the night we tried to break up and this is where things get really distorted. Marry and i make arrangements to share custody and everything seems okay however marry and i begin talking and i finally tell her why i left and explained my actions and she takes it as any rational human being and we don't talk for a while. finally around November she gets into contact with me and tells me that she will leave the country and not let me have a chance with my child if i continue to stay with gale. Gale and i are about a year into our relationship and happy and in love at this time. After telling gale and weighing my options I decide to leave until my life is in order. I inform marry of my decision and she then invites me along on doctors appointments and the like and I'm there for the birth and all that a few weeks later. I then start to contemplate my decision to leave gale and i'm still very much in love with her and I'm starting to miss her. A few days later she calls me and tells me she too is pregnant and my whole life seems to be destroyed despite the fact that i would have loved the news if the circumstances had been different. I've yet to tell Marry and Gale was having a hard time coping with my absence and has moved back home to another state. I miss gale very much but i know if i decide to be with her marry will not let me see my child to whom i've grown very attached but at the same time I want to be there for gales and my child. My name is on the birth certificate of the child i have with marry. I know this seems foolish and dramatic and believe me i've called myself every name in the book and i need not ridicule but guidance.
