Is it possible for the ulnar collateral ligament to have torn, causing the need for "tommy john" surgery, but?
through all of my research i have found that my pain and other symptoms (such as slight swelling and bruising) greatly suggest tommy john surgery to be necessary but the original injury happened upwards of three years ago. the MRI from two months ago doesn't show what the radiologist would consider an injury, however slight joint effusion was noticed, so could it have healed but maybe incorrectly? i would like to know if I'm just crazy or if i need to find another orthopedist that's willing to listen to me and consider that option (if it is one?) my orthopedist is just prescribing anti inflammatory and therapy and the therapist says its my biceps but my elbow joint is what hurts??
