Can someone cheack and help edit this for me to make it sound more like part of a daily newspapper article?:)?
Hiryƫ, the sole surviving Japanese aircraft carrier did all she could do to survive. She counterattacked, and damaged Yorktown with three bombs. Her engine no longer worked and was immobilized. Late in the afternoon, U.S launch a final shot of dive-bombers, including 10 bombers from Yorktown .This delivered a killing blow, leaving Hiryu blown up and burned. Rear Admiral Yamaguchi chose to go down with his ship when she sank on June 5, costing Japan perhaps their best carrier sailor to die.
